Hello everybody,
the WFS 1.1 GetCapabilities-Response does not validate.
(GeoServer 2.2 beta2)
DefaultSRS <> DefaultCRS
cvc-complex-type.2.4.a: Invalid content was found starting with element 'DefaultCRS'. One of '{"http://www.opengis.net/ows":Keywords, "http://www.opengis.net/wfs":DefaultSRS, "http://www.opengis.net/wfs":NoSRS\}' is expected. [109]
Best regards

Can I see the request you made? If you did not specify the version in GeoServer 2.2 beta2
you’ll get a WFS 2.0 capabilities document, which uses DefaultCRS as the specification
changed and demanded this new name
If your client does not support version negotiation you can probably give it the following
capabilities url that makes the version you want explicit:
http://host:port/geoserver/ows?service=wfs&version=1.1.0&request=GetCapabilities
Cheers
Andrea

ACtually this was a bug until about two days ago when https://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-4545 was committed. Andrea is correct, in wfs 2.0 its DefaultCRS and in 1.1 it is DefaulltSRS, but the issue was 1.1 was using the wfs 2.0 version. Fixed now, should be present in the latest nightly build.
