[Geoserver-devel] WFS 1.1 support?

I'm trying to determine whether Geoserver supports WFS 1.1.

http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOS/Features has "Full WFS 1.1 support" listed under "On Our Radar"

http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOS/GSIP+10+-+WFS+1.1+Support suggests that WFS 1.1 support has been ported to the trunk and will be available in Geoserver 1.6.

Is this right?

Is there a proposed release date for 1.6.0?

Is there a proposed release date for 1.6.0?

Less than a month, with a beta coming out within the week (or next).

You can get a look at a preliminary alpha release of it here:

But as stated, its *very* alpha.

We're hoping for a beta release in the next couple weeks.

And I'd say we're _hoping_ for a real release in the next month or two, but that depends on a lot of factors. Obviously if someone wanted to pay us to get to 1.6.0 sooner rather than later we could make that happen. But it's not the top priority of anyone I know.
