[Geoserver-devel] WFS Performance - Open Source Implementations

Hi guys,

Maybe you could find some interresting informations here:
http://tinyows.org/tracdocs/slide/OSGIS_UK-TinyOWS-High_Performance_WFS-T.pdf

It covers some general consideration on WFS implementation and tuning,
and also a quick bench with latests MapServer, GeoServer and TinyOWS versions.

(Related to OsGIS UK 2010, last week in Nottingham
  http://cgs.nottingham.ac.uk/~osgis10/os_home.html )

Interesting, thanks for the link Olivier. GeoServer seems to come up a bit short across the board... i really need to resurrect the fast gml3 encoder i implemented on a branch a while back... the one that is there is now is slow as a dog...
