Hi all,
at the bottom of the usual versioning wfs page (http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOS/Versioning+WFS)
I've added a suggested implementation that is imho a good
balance between simplicity, performance and functionality....
have a look at it, and provide feedback... or else, do not
complain when it'll be implemented
Cheers
Andrea
PS: I've added gt2-devel as cc because the above will be
implemented as a datastore, a postgis datastore clone with
versioning most probabably
Paul just reminded me of a very interesting thing for you to check out w/ respect to version API & approach.
The FDO project has some mention of version in it - it would be interesting to know what approach they
have taken (and if it matches one of the other two).
Other then that I am overwhelmed by your link - and will need to look at it another day.
Cheers,
Jody
