[Geoserver-devel] where are the IRC logs?

1. navigate to geoserver.org - meetings are no longer on the IRC feed (fair enough it is now feed about the product rather than development)
2. click on IRC meetings; tells how to attend the meeting ... but no record of where the meetings go...
3. guess it is the wiki news feed? Yes there is some stuff here

But no records for June? I am trying to help a developer working on kmz placemarks; but there is no record of what advice was given in previous meetings - help?

I may not have filed the last one correctly, but you can find 3 recent ones here. One meeting may be missing, but I think one was dropped because of lack of topics, and another because most people were in Italy for the sprint.

I was looking for one on the 24th? Apparently that was whem the combo of raster + placemarks was covered?

The bug report consists of a links to review sessions or something; what I am expecting to see in a solution is the use of a custom "don't label anything" LabelCache implementation; some vendor parameter to enable that (it may already exist?) and the kml writer linking to these requests...

It was interesting to me me the choice to use templates rather than repurpose text symbolizers for KML label + description. This was the first time I looked at the templates closely and it makes for a nice solution.

Jody

Just resurrected them from my IRC client logs:
http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/2008/07/14/IRC+logs+June+24

Cheers
Andrea

The information about the IRC Meetings is here:

http://geoserver.org/display/GEOSDOC/3+IRC
(This is linked on the sidebar at left)

The actual IRC Logs are here:
http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/IRC+Logs

Both of these pages link to each other.

If you think these pages should be organized differently, please let me know.

Thanks,
Mike

Thanks Mike; I was unable to find the IRC logs easily when I tried last week. If we can move the "find logs here" link to the top of the "3 IRC" page it would be good.
