Hello all,
Just wondering if anyone is implementing the Web Processing Service in relation with WCS. This is for cases where we wish to download very large amounts of data and where possibly we can return some tickets, based on WPS ExecuteResponse XML document, to inform the user when data will be ready for download.
Does this fit with future developments of GeoServer ?

There is a Draft Implementation Spécification for a Web Coverage Processing Service (WCPS) on the OGC portal.
I don’t know if it’s what you’re looking for.

There have been a few people 
Chris can probably comment further but it sounds like the gvsig team is
interested in WPS.
Also Theodor Foerster and Jonas Johansson have GeoServer based WPS
implementations.
