I am writing to seek for guidance in properly configuring my geoserver running on Tomcat on Ubuntu instance. The geoserver encounter random unexpected down time, which required manual restarting the Tomcat to have it back up.
Therefore, I would like to seek for assistance on how I can properly diagnose the issue and find the right resolution to the issue.

What caused your unexpected down time? Have a look at the log files to see what was up.
