[Geoserver-users] 1.6.0. beta3 - null pointer when saving after deleting all namespaces and logging is disabled

Installed fresh on windows.
added the oracle dlls
added service wrapper
started service
deleted all feature types, applied and saved successfully
deleted all datastores, applied and saved successfully
deleted all namespaces except topp, applied successfully, when saved get NullPointerException.

in server menu it says Geoserver logging is disabled.

Can someone confirm it’s not just me before I report it,

cheers,

Tom

Sounds like a but to me indeed. It may be you deleted a namespace
used by a coverage?

yes. deleting the coverages first fixes it. I’ve got another one though… NullPointer Exception again, this time on creating a new featuretype. I’ve created 3 so far with no problem but the 4th isn’t working. The main difference being that it’s on an empty table, i.e. there are no existing features so I have manually entered the bounding box by copying the values from the other tables. Should I be able to do that?

You should, yes. File a bug report
