Hiya Everyone,
Just wanted to let the GeoServer dev team know that I'm unable to run the
new GeoServer 1.6.0-RC2. Attached is catalina.out stack trace when
deploying the WAR file to tomcat. Note that v1.5.4 would also give ESPG db
errors...but not to the point where GeoServer would not start.
OSs: Windows 2000 & Debian GNU/Linux 3.1 i686 (same problem)
jdk1.6.0
tomcat-5.5.20
1.6.0-RC2 WAR file (both 1.6.0-RC2 and the nightly build).
bwt, a colleague reports that he can't get 1.6.0-RC2 run with included
Jetty on Win 2000.

I think you mean RC1. I believe I'm the colleague mentioned in the previous post. I uninstalled and did a clean install on Win2k and Geoserver seems to be running fine inside of Jetty. I have not yet tested the complex SLDs that were problematic a few betas ago but I am happy to report that high-res imagery is rendering nicely via the Imagemosaic plugin.
Regards,
Nathan Banks
