[Geoserver-users] About the application schema

Hi,

I still don't quite get the importance of the application schema. If I just play
with my own data and don't care about data from other servers, do I still need
to create my own application schema or namespace?

Thanks.

Apologies for the late response. If you don't care about other data
then you don't need your own application schema or namespace. But I do
sorta recommend putting your own namespace just so it doesn't say
openplans, you can have it be your personal site or whatever. But no,
if you're not putting your server for others to use, there's not a need
to create a namespace and all.

best regards,

Chris

Thanks.
