[Geoserver-users] Accessing WFS through WSDL ??

Hi List,
I'm new with geoserver. I'm looking for a way to add/update/delete features to a WFS geoserver via a php soap library (Nusoap). WFS doesn't seem to include WSDL. Is there a way to expose WFS capabilities through WSDL ? Any help or feedback would be very welcome.

No, there's currently no way to expose WFS through WSDL.

One spec version they took a crack at it, and decided not to. I think the reason had something to do with not being able to express enough WFS specific information with WSDL. The OGC has circled back around it several times, and now has SOAP wrappers in WFS 1.1, but no wsdl.

So the only real route is to write the transaction code yourself.

best regards,

Chris
