[Geoserver-users] Add data source from network

Hey guys,

pretty simple thing I’m trying to do - adding a single Tiff data source from a network location… Is this possible?

I have mapped the drive in windows but it doesn’t come up on my dropdown in the “browse“ window. (Also, is it just me or can anyone see their drive letters in the dropdown? I can’t - I can select blank rows but I have to guess what drive it is).

And putting something like file://\networklocation\hereismyfile\file.tiff

doesn’t work either.

Any ideas?

You have to mount that network location so that it gets a local drive
letter, then you can access though it.
