[Geoserver-users] Admin Password - Unable to change

HI All,

I am trying to deploy geonode / geoserver-geonode under ubuntu 12.04, using the official PPA on a clean server.

The install goes smooth and everything appears to work out-of-the-box, but I am unable to change the admin password.

I can change the password and login with the new one, yet I can still login with the old one.

If I restart tomcat, I am unable to login with the default - but when I start apache, about 30 seconds later I can login with the default password.

Something in the django-geonode enables this default password. Any ideas? The documentation does not mention any further config and I only found one other post with a similar issue, yet they said restarting tomcat solved the issue, yet the change password warning remained.

Thanks

Hi Corey,
I would probably move this question to the GeoNode list.
