[Geoserver-users] Alternating polygon graphicfill hatching

Hi everybody,

we are trying to hatch our polygons using GraphicFill, but using
alternating pattern ( every other hatching row begins with some offset
- half of the distance between two GraphicFill objects)

We managed to do it but its kind hacky, using 2 PolygonSymbolizers and
graphic-margin vendor option to achieve the effect.

The problem is that when one changes dpi:300, hatch is of course not
aligned anymore (and we dont want to create one additional style per
dpi and adjust graphic-margin values)

Does anyone know if this is possible to do without using this ugly hack?

Thank you,
Ivan

Hi Ivan,
looking at it, it seems like s a bug in the style rescaler, it’s not rescaling the graphic-margin for polygon fills.
Checked the code, graphic-margin it’s indeed rescaled for text-symbolizer, but not for polygon symbolizer.

Cheers
Andrea
