[Geoserver-users] antarctic polar stereographic coverage

Hello,

I'm trying to load an antarctic polar stereographic image, stored as a
geotiff, into geoserver as a coverage store but failing with the message,
'bad ordinates at dimension 0'.

The error may be because I have mis-formed the geotiff or it may be that
geoserver can't load a coverage in this format.

Has anyone successfully loaded data of this type? If so, do they have an
example geotiff I can examine or can they offer any advice.

Thank you,
Dave

Ciao Dave,
can you make available to me the geotiff for testing? Moreover, which
version of geoserver are you using?

Simone.

Hi Dave,

GeoServer definitely can do Geotiff. One good way to debug a problem with your image is to use the command line utility gdalinfo (not sure if you are familiar with it).

If gdal can load and produce information about the file then the problem is likely in GeoServer. If not it is likely a problem with the file.
