[Geoserver-users] Anti aliasing options for lines

Currently I can see the documentation shows that the format_options for antialiasing are as follows: antialiasing (values = on, off, text)

Is there a way to have text only be off (antialiasing for everything except text), rather than text only on (antialiasing only for text)?

The reason I want this is because we use a lot of font glyphs and so when we anti alias them, the file size doubles.

Simon Hartley

P.S.

In the version of GeoServer I use (2.2.5), we use “antialias”, rather than “antialiasing” to get this option to work.

There is not, althought I believe it could be added with little effort it
we are talking actual labels.
Or when you say font glyphs, you're referring to point symbols derived from
the ttf://xyz marks?

Actual labels: It’s a true type font installed on the system and we’re using a text symbolizer to display the characters
(we just reference the font by name, rather than use the ttf:// syntax).

We were using a point symbolizer at one point, but we couldn’t get the behaviour we wanted out of it.

Many thanks,

Simon
