Right, non spatial tables are not supported by the ArcSDE geotools plugin,
but
supporting at least the sde registered tables would be quite easy I guess
and
the appropriate way to indicate which ones to show and what not
(registering
a table/view with sde works more or less like the postgis geometry_columns
table)
