[Geoserver-users] Backup in GeoServer

Hellow, is possible to backup geoserver? because I had to reinstall and lost data loaded.

In a production environment you should use an external config folder,
holding configuration and all or part of your spatial data. If you
didn't config it and are using the config folder you may copy it
before removing GeoServer, then replace the default configuration and
sample data with your copy.
Please note that this may not work if you are not reinstalling the
same version of GeoServer, i.e. if you are upgrading GeoServer to
newer release.
