I’m trying to generate a map from a set of points with gs:BarnesSurface. The result is quite good but the transition between colors is too sharp. Which parameters affects the transition between colors?
I’m currentrly using ColorMap type=“ramp”.

I would continue to use ramp, but make your colors closer together visually so it is less sharp visually?
The generation of the surface is independent on how you style it with a raster symbolizer…
