Hi all,
Just a quick question - should specifying a bgcolor in a
getLegendGraphic request work? I see it can be defined in
org.vfny.geoserver.wms.responses, but it doesn't seem to work by
including it in the request.
Cheers,

Hi Miles,
Is your intent to have the background of the legend image itself to be a
different color. I would have to check the spec to be sure but I don't
think the bgcolor will really apply to the resulting legend graphic
since it is meant to portray the styles of features in a getMap request
and not the background of the resulting image.
That being said, I can see how this could be a useful option to have.
Especially if one of the rules of and SLD specifies a "white" polygon or
something. It would be pretty straight forward to add as an additional
parameter to the GetLegendGraphic operation (something outside the spec
but something that geoserver supports).
What do others think?
