Hi. I have two Basic username/password authentication. The default one and the oracle jdbc.
I want to chain these two.
I set Oracle to the Selected list and hit Save.
But the loading time is almost zero and nothing happens. No errors are shown.
Hit another menu and come back to Authentication and the changes weren’t saved.
I tried this procedure with an admin role from default provider and even with root user.
Tried also to set only Oracle and remove the default provider from the selected list.
Same behaviors always.
In the logs the there is only this line which I don’t know if is related to the problem.
2013-04-05 16:46:40,239 WARN [org.geoserver.security] - No session availabe to get url parameter encrypter
I am using Geoserver 2.3.0
Any help? I really need to setup this Oracle authentication.
Thanks.
Hi
First about your problems with the “Save” button. Do you use Google Chrome ?. The save button does not work with Google Chrome.
I checked your scenario and it worked well except a bug
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-5751
I fixed it and you can try with a nightly build.

Thanks Christian. I was using Chrome. This probably should be the problem. Will try again tomorrow.
