[Geoserver-users] catalog.xml

This page of the documentation - http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/datadirectory/data-dir-structure.html - says there’s a catalog.xml file, and makes reference to it in both the /data/ and /styles/ section. However I can’t find any such file in either my data directory or my geoserver-install directory.

Does anyone know if there is still a catalog.xml or is it something that has been deprecated?

Jonathan

Oops, catalog.xml is obsolete; this text snippet refers to the old data-dir format. The ASCII-art tree at the top is (more) correct. Data store configuration is now stored somewhere in the workspaces folder.
