[Geoserver-users] Chinese label

Hello everyone!

I'm in trouble,can anyone help me! I want to show some points with their name as label on the map, and the names are Chinese. I have a try to set the sld's and the html's encoding to "gb2312" or "GBK", but it doesn't work, the labels are still like "?" and "¿Ú".

p.s. I request getmap with a UserLayer SLD.

Hrm, I believe it should work. Akira, cced, got things functioning in
Japanese, which required some changes to the core, but things should
work out ok now.

Akira, did you manage to get labels on a GetMap request? Any hints for
Youni?
