does any one know how to use geoserver from linux command shell… well i have an application which generates the DBF files dynamically taking the userinput,… so i have to give this DBF file to the geoserver from command line to generate the new data. the mapserver has the capability to call it from command line in linux … please i want in geoserver command line… please reply soon

Hi Naseer,
There is currently no good facility to do this type of programmatic
modification of GeoServer configuration. The best thing you could do is
have your program modify the GeoServer configuration files directly.
Then programtically reload the configuration files. Some info on this
can be found here:
