I believe this may have something to do with your field types. Be sure
that your string types are not unicode (oracle = nvarchar, sde =
NSTRING) and instead are standard string types.
I thought this was fixed, but it may still be present in the 1.6.5 SDE
connector code. Or else this may not be the issue at all!
