[Geoserver-users] Connecting with OpenLayers

G'Day all,

We have a GeoServer 2.5 install that is able to show layer previews when these previews are requested from the dropdown format selector.

However, simply clicking on the OpenLayers link returns a broken image. The URL for the broken image shows this as the final term:

&format=application/openlayers

We have the OpenLayers library already available locally, and of course the library is also available online.

However, I can't see an obvious way to ask GeoServer to locate the library and use it for previews.

What should I be doing?

The geoserver install brings in its own version of OL. data_dir/www/openlayers I think.
You can always open the preview, show source and track down where it is loading stuff. The browser console should any errors.
