I am trying to make custom electric line pattern with SLD. You can see how it must look on this link http://img42.com/lqoJP
Everything goes ok with start and end points – I can generate such symbols for them.
But I have stuck with other inner vertexes (Npoints).
To achieve such result I must have Npoint (vertex) angles (two angles are needed for Npoint) you can see what I mean on the following picture http://img42.com/10rvR
Maybe you have any advice how to create such line style with GeoServer SLD?
Or maybe it is possible to add additional custom functionality (patch) to have such „NpointStartAngle“ and „NpointEndAngle“ filter functions and someone could point “How to”?

Hi Paul,
I think you should possibly be able to do that by using some combination of the functions from here - http://docs.geoserver.org/stable/en/user/filter/function_reference.html
There’s one for startAngle and another for endAngle. Alternately I guess you could use the maths functions (also on there) to calculate it for interim vertices.
