[Geoserver-users] DB2 Express-C and Spatial free download

I hope it is appropriate to post this information.

There had been some problems with synchronizing the code levels of the downloads for DB2 9 Express-C and DB2 9 Spatial Extender.

DB2 9 Express-C and DB2 9 Spatial Extender are now available for free download at:
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/data/db2/express/download.html

GeoTools includes a plug-in for DB2 Spatial Extender support which can also be exploited for GeoServer and uDig applications.

You need to register (free) for the download.

I will also be giving a talk on this at the FOSS4G conference in September.

Sweet - and congrats on getting the talking spot.

Question for you - with it being a free download is there anyway we can include the jdbc driver in a maven repository? I would love to see some more testing going on.

I tried the sign up process - after answer questions for 5 mins I got the following:

We are sorry, we are unable to process your request at this time. Please try again later.

I hope this just means that DB2 is really really popular.
