Hi,
I’m a newbee at this, and I have a question that I cant find any answer to.
-
I’ve i pointlayer in a PostGIS database. I have configured Namespace, Store, Style and featuretype.
-
I can se the layer in Demo, Map preview as a WMS layer.
-
I can load the the layer via WMS in desktop GIS application as QGIS and uDIG, it looks nice.
-
I hav installed Deegree iGeoportal, where I can see data from external WMS:s, but not my local map data!
If i send te Request by the browswen manualy i’m getting an HTML frame with the error:
" No Default style has been defined for saab:ais " What shall i do???
-
Do anyone know of another “better” free Geographical portal?
Thanks,
Paul

I don't have any idea whether it's better or not, but you can have a shot
at MapBender, or go and try OpenLayer or MapBuilder (not portals, javascript
based client side apps instead, but fully functional I'd say).
Cheers
