Morning All,
As the title says, is it (now) possible to delete a non empty workspace? I saw a posting from about 2010 that says you have to go through the linked layers / coverage stores etc in order to be able to delete the workspace.
Considering the user interface allows you do it I was wondering if this was exposed somewhere?
Many thanks,
Toby
I think that you can use the recurse parameter in the request to delete recursively the workspace content
http://docs.geoserver.org/2.7.1/user/rest/api/workspaces.html#recurse
The command should be something like:
curl -v -u admin:geoserver -XDELETE http://localhost:8080/geoserver/rest/workspaces/MY_WORKSPACE?recurse=true
For sure change the admin, pass and server to your own configurations.

Hi Tobias,
yes, it is possible through the REST API, please take a look at the docs here:
