Dear All,
Please help me to Deploy Geoserver 2.5 under JBOSS 7.1.1 in Windows OS
I Am currently trying to use jboss as my web container instead fo Tomcat ,soo i like to move my geoserver from tomcat to JBOSS 7.1.1 but i am struck here,Where i uploaded the geoserver 2.5 war file using JBOSS management console and when ever i tried to enable it it kinda struck there,I google it for the problem but am getting result for jboss older version where JBOSS 7.1.1 structure is some what different from older version soo i am being help less
Soo please give me guidance to deploy geoserver over JBOSS 7.1.1 under windows OS as well as Ubuntu 12.04
We have not had much feedback on deploying to JBoss, a couple of things to look out for from the Tomcat instructions:
a) GeoServer is big, perhaps bigger then the management console is willing to accept as an upload. In Tomcat you need to increase this limit - or drop the war into the web apps folder directly
b) GeoServer requires permissions to access the disk, specifically the disk where the “GeoServer Data Directory” is located
Other than that please check the issue tracker for JBoss issues others have had, and consider reporting any issues you find (please note the JBoss version and platform information in the “environment” section of the issue tracker).
