[Geoserver-users] Different space work

Hello, I come across an idea but not if it is possible or where you can configure. We loaded some layers, and using the WMS service could raise from QGIS, and from this I have the ability to lift all that I have on GeoServer. Now, I have to load other data from another project, so I created another workspace, but my question is, how do I limit the download of WMS is for a specific workspace, and user keys of each space work is different, and so you can manage your data and allow access to certain users.

Hello,

I guess what you are talking about is virtual OWS services, that are enabled with GeoServer 2.2. You can have a specific WMS GetCapabilities for each workspace you created, when you choose the option. So if you have multiple users, like workpace1_user, workspace2_user… each one could use the specific virtual service.
