[Geoserver-users] Disk quota showing incorrect values

I started to generate a lot of tiles and stopped it when I realised it was going to fill the server hard drive

I then truncated the data using the tile layers link in the tile caching section

It quite happily deleted the tiles

My problem is my cache now says :-

Using -902,033,408.0 B of a maximum 10.0 GB

When I am using about 50mb

Any idea how I can reset / fix this ?

Hi Mark,
This is a known issue with manually deleting files. You should use the interface to “truncate” the files that way the quota software doesn’t lose track.

To resolve the issue now, I believe disabling the quota cache and re-enabling it should suffice. Alternately just set the value to “0” in the database if you’re using an external one like Oracle.

This transmission is intended for the named addressee(s) only and may contain confidential, sensitive or personal information and should be handled accordingly. Unless you are the named addressee (or authorised to receive it for the addressee) you may not copy or use it, or disclose it to anyone else. If you have received this transmission in error please notify the sender immediately. All email traffic sent to or from us, including without limitation all GCSX traffic, may be subject to recording and/or monitoring in accordance with relevant legislation.

Mark,

I’ve had similar problems in the past with the quota store, see this thread.

tl;dr So I’ve just removed the “diskquota.index.db” file and restarted Geoserver, seems to be ok now.
