Hi,
Is there any method to generate dynamic legend based on map extent?
We are developing an application which has thematic layers with more than 15 classes in a layer. But at a specific zoom level and extent, only 4 to 8 classes might be displayed, hence in the legend displaying only the classes visible at an extent will be more meaningful. We need to make map print outs at different scales. Due to large no of classes, it becomes clumsy in the legend.
Thanks
Girish

There was some discussion about implementing it on the devel list some time
ago, but then nothing
happened, at least as far as I remember. Jody (cc'ed) was it you, or
someone from Lisasoft?
