[Geoserver-users] Error getting FeatureType, this should never happen!

Hi list,

using ArcSDE only as WMS with Geoserver 1.6.3, I get the following after a
few zoom/pans, and after that the WMS becomes unusable:

Error getting FeatureType, this should never happen!
Details:
org.geoserver.platform.ServiceException: java.lang.RuntimeException: Error
getting FeatureType, this should never happen!

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Not with so few information. Any stack trace in the logs?

Hi Andrea,

I posted the stack trace to pastebin here:

It looks like SDE is running out of connections, but that's very quick
since this happens within a few minutes.
