[Geoserver-users] Featureinfo problem

Hi,

I have a problem when I do a featureinfo request on linux with
GeoServer 1.7.5, on windows 2003 server this request runs correctly.

The url is:
http://sigserver4.udg.edu:8080/geoserver/wms?bbox=-130,24,-66,50&styles=population&format=jpeg&info_format=text/plain&request=GetFeatureInfo&layers=topp:states&query_layers=topp:states&width=550&height=250&x=170&y=160

The error response is
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="no"?><!DOCTYPE
ServiceExceptionReport SYSTEM
"http://schemas.opengis.net/wms/1.1.1/WMS_exception_1_1_1.dtd">
<ServiceExceptionReport version="1.1.1" > <ServiceException>
      java.lang.reflect.UndeclaredThrowableException
null
null
null
/usr/local/tomcat/webapps/geoserver/data/styles (Is a directory)
</ServiceException></ServiceExceptionReport>

Hi,

I just tried the same request again a fresh 1.7.5 and it worked ok, so i think the request is ok, could be something specific to your data.

Can you enable verbose exceptions in the user interface and provide the entire stack trace of the error. That should help us narrow down the problem.

Thanks,

-Justin
