Since Geoserver's WMS does not support the "TIME=" argument yet, I
encode the time stamp as part of my coverages.
Then, the WMS request is cunstructed such that it gets the coverage
that coresponds to the selected time stamp.

(either gmail chat or email), maybe you have some other ideas about
how to accomplish this...

When i try to extend in layers param the name of FeatureType GeoServer throws exception.
