Hi All,
I’m getting a strange inconsistency with labeling in 1.7.3 running through the Jetty-based windows installer. When I apply the vendor option “followline”, the text sometimes follows the line, and sometimes not, but predominantly labels with a horizontal label. Has anyone else encountered this? A portion of my sld is below:

Never mind. I asked too soon, and then answered my own question. I shouldn’t be expecting the followline to do all the heavy lifting, but need to specify line placement as well for non-curved areas:
rr_name cmssbx10 10.0 italic Bold 0 1 #000000 0.5 #FFFFFF 1.02
