[Geoserver-users] fonts

I had similar problem and this is answer by Chris Holmes:

"GeoServer just depends on the fonts that are available from your java install. So perhaps you don't have many or any additional fonts available?"

Can anybody tell me where I can find the fonts that are available to
Geoserver? No matter what I do (in the SLD), I seem to only get one font in
my labels. I'm using Tomcat an Linux.

Thanks again,
Steve

I found a little info about it here:
http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-417

The JRE only came with one font, so I added fonts to the yourJRE\lib\fonts
folder and it works fine.

Thanks,
Steve

Could someone add this to the faq? It's obviously an issue at least a few people have had.

http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC/FAQ

Directions at the bottom of the page, I'd put it under 'troubleshooting'
