[Geoserver-users] Fresh installation of Geoserver to solve missing funcionalities

Hi list,

Due to my problems with PDF support in 1.3.2 I am doing a fresh
reinstalled on my server. In my machine is working fine so it must had
to do something with tomcat getting confused with previous geoservers
or something.
I restarted, deleted temp files but no luck...

Finally I had to remove my version of geoserver, restart tomcat and
install a fresh new geoserver... so if someone is getting into
troubles on something similar be careful with tomcat...

Now I can use PDF and it works great.

With KML it is working when using KML but when I use KMZ Google Earth
complains that the XML is not well-formed, there is some unmatch tags
(what is true). I am investigating, but I think it has to do with
layers that do not get data after the SLD is processed.

Thanks!

Javier.

I will look into the unclosed-tag issue.

I believe at least part of it is mixed KMScore responses. Javier is getting 6 layers, and 3 are KML and 3 are ground overlays. If he does just KML it works better because all are KML. One problem is that the image names are wrong, layer4 (correct since there are 3 KML layers already) refers layer4.png, but layer1.png is the one produced. That may be an additional error to the unformed KML. Brent, I'll forward along the requests Javier got to me.
