Hello,
Does anybody know the exact license of the javascript styler tool for geoserver (GeoExt styler) ? I could not manage to find it and fear it would be GPL, which would imply to distribute any Javascript source code using it under GPL license.

GeoExt is under a BSD license:

However at the time that the styler was released as part of GeoServer I am not sure they had decided on the official license yet, so not sure if that implies the styler was GPL? Not sure.
Regardless, the styler extension for GeoServer will start being distributed via the GeoExt project, the one release as part of GeoServer was really just a proof of concept. So you may want to ask on the geoext list.
