I'm pulling down the 1.6 beta 2 as I type this. Couldn't find any mention of GeoJSON support. Is it baked into this release, or will I have to pull down the plug-in as well?
Thx,

You'll have to use the plug-in. Though Justin, did you get things changed back on trunk to use the old plug-in stuff for WFS outputs?
There's a chance it may not work for beta2 Scott, but it's a priority for beta3.

Not yet... still sitting on my todo list. Now that the 1.5.3 release
push has ended I will make this more of a priority. Something to do in
my spare time when geotools is getting me down :).
There's a chance it may not work for beta2 Scott, but it's a priority
for beta3.

[He asks the obvious question.... grin]: What is the ETA on beta3? Real Soon Now? If perchance the plugin doesn't work with beta2, do you think that it will with a nightly build?
Standard plaudits apply here, of course: you folks are doing a killer job of supporting the bleeding edge stuff. Keep up the amazing work.
Thx,

I'm hoping on some sort of release in 1-2 weeks, which may not have all that we want in to it, but will at least get something out there. I think it would make good sense for Justin to do the GeoJSON integration when he fixes up the plug-in mechanism, and I imagine he'll get to that relatively soon. If you go to http://jira.codehaus.org/browse/GEOS-1276, log in to jira and hit 'watch' and it will email you when the issue is closed, and it should be on a nightly build the day after that.

OK -- confirmed that the GeoJSON plug-in does not work with 1.6 beta 2. Waiting for a nightly and/or beta 3 with baited breath.
Cheers,
