[Geoserver-users] GEOS-830 can be closed, but I have another minor change to ask for shapefile .prj

I believe that GEOS-830 can be closed - shapefiles extracted from GeoServer 1.6.5 now work in ArcMap 9.3.

However, a still outstanding issue I believe is the units in the .prj file.
The .prj of the shapefile has UNIT[“m”, for the units for our data, where "UNIT[“meter”, should be. If we leave the “m”, ArcMap does not recognize the units and the user can not use the ruler. However, if we edit the .prj and change “m” to “Meter” then the shapefile in ArcMap 9.3 can be measured.
