[Geoserver-users] GeoServer 1.4.0 RC2 and WebLogic 9.2

Folks,

after Andrea Aime and Gabriele Columbro tinkered with the JSP pages and committed those changes to 1.4.0 RC2, I can confirm GeoServer *works* out of the box under WebLogic 9.2.

Therefore, I think it's about time to add WebLogic to the list of supported servlet containers. The only extra installation step needed is the setting of "Enforce Strict URL pattern" to "false" from the WebLogic console.

Regards,

Great news Luca... ah, unfortunately I'm still a little new to Geoserver
and it shows... I cannot find a page with a list of supported
containers? Do we have one?

Cheers
Andrea

I think he's referring to the little checkboxes on each download page:

Good ! Now, I think the following note should be added to the installation guide (http://docs.codehaus.org/display/GEOSDOC/Install): <<An additional step is needed under WebLogic 9.2: Open the WebLogic administration console, go in "Domain -> Security -> Advanced" and set "Enforce Strict URL Pattern" to false>>.
