[Geoserver-users] geoserver-1.5.0-beta1-war.zip

Hi,

I download geoserver-1.5.0-beta1-war.zip and placed it within the Tomcat 5.5\webapps\ directory and started tomcat up. When I try to run http://localhost:8080/geoserver it can’t find the page. When logged into the tomcat manager and try to start geoserver then I get the following error: “FAIL - Application at context path /geoserver could not be started”.

Can you send us the tomcat logs so that we can see what's happening?
