The GeoServer team is proud to announce the second release candidate of the 1.5 series.

Changes in this version include:
- Bug fixes
- Kml returns proper PNG files
- Kml strips out illegal characters now
- Improved error messages
- UI improvements
- Inline features are back
- Links to old homepage updated
- Performance optimization

Hi Brent - the release is not marked as "released" in Jira ... usually I send out a link to the release notes:
- http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=10311&styleName=Html&version=12974

But you link was more cool (they have charts now!)

I haven't finished cleaning up jira yet. Once that is done then I will "release" it from there.
