Thanks Justin... on starting up I got a conflict (I had another web server running on 8080). In looking for the configuration
option to change this I happened on ...

This document is all about GeoServer 1.3 - and it should probably be updated.

When starting up with no "geoserver" in the url you usually get a link to the /geoserver ContextHandler

And that is still the case.

What is new is a link to a "/javadoc" handler - this links does not do anything (but it is new to this release near as I can tell).

No context on this server matched or handled this request.
Contexts known to this server are:

    * /javadoc ---> ContextHandler@anonymised.com{/javadoc,file:/C:/Program%20Files/GeoServer%201.5.0-RC3/javadoc}
    * /geoserver ---> ContextHandler@anonymised.com{/geoserver,file:/C:/Program%20Files/GeoServer%201.5.0-RC3/webapps/geoserver/}

The links above may not work if a virtual host is configured

Oh and when I click on "/geoserver" everything starts up like normal ... will try with uDig soon.
Cheers,
Jody

Good call, Thanks Jody, scheduling a task for 1.5.0 to do this.
