I find the geoserver-1.5.1-RC1 have a serious problem. It can add a datastore, but cannot add FeatureType. It display error "HTTP 500 " page when I press the submit button after generate coordinates. Even I remove the ApplicationResources_zh_CN.properties file,it also cannot add data Faturetype.Is it the geoserver 1.5.1 's wrong?

May be. But without a log of yours detailing the error, we cannot
spot what's wrong. I added shapefiles and postgis layers during the
last days without issues, so I don't exactly know what's wrong with
your test, and I'd really really would like to know more 
This is the only error I know of that was fixed between 1.5.1-rc1
and today that could break saving feature types:

Please, send us a log of Geoserver with the relevant stack trace
of your "http 500" error (and thank you muchly for reporting it).
