Just some thought on http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/GeoServer+2.2.1
"Release Notes" does not actually take you to the release notes. It
takes you to http://sourceforge.net/projects/geoserver/files/
(which I think are here
http://jira.codehaus.org/secure/ReleaseNote.jspa?projectId=10311&version=18798)

It would also be nice to link to the GeoTools 8.3 release notes, as much functionality exposed through GeoServer is provided in GeoTools. An unfamiliar user might not realise that GS 2.2.1 includes a new release of GT 8.3.
