[Geoserver-users] GeoServer 2.3.1 released

Hi all,
GeoServer 2.3.1 just got release with a nice pack of bug fixes and minor new features, have a look at the official blog for details:

http://blog.geoserver.org/2013/04/23/geoserver-2-3-1-released/

and download it here:
http://geoserver.org/display/GEOS/GeoServer+2.3.1

Unfortunately so far we did not manage to create a OSX installer, hopefully it will be back next month along with 2.3.2 (or maybe some good soul with a OSX machine will build the installer, if so we’ll update the download page accordingly)

Justin came to the rescue and added the OSX installer back into the mix.
Thanks!

Hello,

I added the following to my web.xml of the geoserver 2.3.1:

GEOSERVER_DATA_DIR

D:\GeoServer-Data

But the geoserver still uses the “webapps/geoserver/data/” directory.

Whats wrong in my configuration?

Yours Rüdiger

Hello,

I restarted the tomcat after each editing. I tried \ and / but it doesn’t work.

Setting the cache-directory is working.

Gruß Rüdiger

Thanks for the hard-work Andrea & Co!

Just one note - the newest post on the geoserver.org front page is still 2.3.0 - is it worth updating it to be about 2.3.1?
